Disabled persons are an integral part of the labor force in America, and many employers actively offer opportunities to citizens with all types of disabilities. So much so that there are job sites specifically geared towards advocating for the disabled workforce.

In addition to private sector employers, as a way for the American government to directly reflect its diverse citizenship, it holds jobs specifically to be filled by disabled persons throughout the country in many different government agencies.

Vocational Rehabilitation

This Department of Education Funded program provides extra help with employment and training goals. VR services help persons with disabilities to prepare for, obtain and maintain a job.
